Our Mission
The mission of the Wolf Creek Gun and Bow Association is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment to promote the use, training and education for all shooting disciplines in the Pagosa Springs area.
We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. (TEIN: 85-3062040)
Our Organization
In the summer of 2019, a group of citizens formed to discuss the development of a dedicated shooting facility in Pagosa Springs. This meeting generated a lot of excitement from community members! The Wolf Creek Gun and Bow Association (WCGBA) was officially incorporated in late 2020 and eventually became recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We continue to seek land to develop a firearms range. We hope you will become a Founding Member for $20/year to help us meet our overall mission and goals.

Current Project
In 2024, Colorado Parks and Wildlife notified Wolf Creek Gun and Bow Association that we were awarded conditional matching grant funds to develop an archery range in Pagosa Springs. This archery range will cater to youth and beginner archery, but may be expanded in the future. Members of WCGBA hope to receive final approval for these funds in March 2025. We now need to raise sufficient funds to get this project started with a goal to open the range for use in July 2025.
Main Goals for 2025
- Locate land for a firearms range.
- Complete fundraising efforts to complete the planned archery range.
- Open basic archery range by July 2025.
